Chuck Mangione: Grandes Éxitos (The Best)
I am of the view that discrete to know or learn something about jazz music is very difficult to recommend where to start. So if someone asked me who would like to delve into the sounds of this style to not start hating on the first day, would recommend this artist. Is Chuck Mangione. His musical career started very late 60's and ends well into the 80's. I would say that makes a simple jazz style, initially, to understand, the "smooth jazz", the literal translation would be "smooth jazz", but to understand each other better, as it was called in English-speaking environments, new music contemporary adult. Well anyway, call it what you call it, is one way, easy to understand jazz, going into his ways, not expect great bass solos, black regular sounds with sax, drums and all that atmosphere of club jazz of the 50's in USA. NO jazz need not be only that, it can be a more open style, initially, sounds closer to "funk" quality from the United States, and artists who develop a quality very careful in his compositions. This is one of those artists that we are tired of hearing some of his compositions, not knowing who he was or who never have guessed that the sound is jazz of the 70's and such interpretations are precursors of later styles that has significantly influenced the dance floor, but especially in music that people now many radio stations. Chuck Mangione, there is nothing different on the internet than their short and brief biography that so perfectly sums WIKIPEDIA, as usual in my recommendations. Enjoy good sounds

Frankie Goes To Hollywood: Welcome To The Pleasuredome
turns out that I get to do my routine investigation on the disc and / or the group concerned and me meeting, on the one hand it is I would say, much more limited, information about them and the second and more interesting to me is that the band here you have available today, is one of the icons of music for gay scene. NI I imagined it. Well yes, who recently perished (I speak of last February or March), a prestigious Australia website has published a list of songs that are and have been "icons" of music, "gay", I refer specifically to the least 2 of the songs on this album, obviously the one hand, the song "relax" and the arch-known "the power of love" subject that every Christmas, playing in every radio and television station, evoking your video, visit The Magi from the East to the "Baby Jesus." GO, GO, GO!. As I said the famous song "Pedro Navaja" "Life gives you surprises, surprises come life, oh God ..." You will not find anything more delicious than what I have told you, the internet, but always well WIKIPEDIA walk around to see what the band have for Holly Johnson and Paul Rutherford

Tightness Behind Knee Depression
Barry White: The Ultimate Collection
Barry White was born in 1944 in Galveston, Texas, USA, and died on July 4, 2003 in Los Angeles. Raised in a suburb of Los Angeles, playing the piano at age 11 in African American churches in their city. Barry made several records in the early 60s, under his own name, Barry Lee and as a member of the Upfronts, the Atlantics and the Majestics. However, work from the wings to succeed as artists, or Felice Taylor Viola Wills. In 1969, White put together Love Unlimited, a female vocal trio formed by Diane Taylor, Glodean James (his future wife) and his sister Linda. He also founded the Love Unlimited Orchestra, a "union" of 40 instruments to accompany himself and the trio, for which he composed and performed arrangements also to direct. Love Unlimited's success in 1972 with "Walkin 'In The Rain With The One I Love", where White played a serious and passionate voice on the telephone, rejuvenated Barry's own career, achieving great success in the U.S. with tracks like " I'm Gonna Love You Just A Little More Baby, "" Never, Never Gonna Give You Up "(both 1973)," Can not Get Of Your Love, Babe "and" You're The First, The Last, My Everything "(both 1974), which were also successful in the UK. With these, the artist established a well-balanced formula, where the melodies pop / soul merged with bulky arrangements and the singer's deep voice. Soon the sexual content of the letters began to be more explicit, but although their successes were heard until the end of the '70s, he kept his idolatry through their live performances. The most successful U.S. singer was "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next To Me" (1977), which peaked at 5 in lists. The following year was placed in the top 20 in the UK charts with her version of "Just The Way You Are" by Billy Joel. Later he made several recordings with his wife Glodean, but experienced a period of decline before returning to the top 20 of UK charts in 1987 with "Sho 'You Right." Along with British singer Lisa Stansfield recorded a new version of the success of Stansfield "All Around The World" in 1992. During the '90s, a series of commercially successful albums White gave him the reputation of being more than a cult figure. Also emerged as a minor celebrity on television, making appearances on popular programs like The Simpsons and Ally McBeal. At the beginning of the new millennium, White's health began to deteriorate and died on July 4, 2003.
